How does the referral program work?
Sign up as an affiliate, get your own unique referral link, and share it with anyone you think could benefit from solar. When someone signs up through your link, it’s tracked automatically — no manual work on your end.
Do I need to already be a solar customer to become an affiliate?
No. Anyone can join — you don’t need to have solar installed yourself to refer others.
How and when do I get paid?
You choose how you’re paid — PayPal, or a direct bank transfer worldwide via Wise — in your affiliate dashboard, and we need a tax form (W-9, or W-8BEN outside the U.S.) on file before your first payout. You earn when a referred homeowner’s installation is completed, and payment follows within 30 days of Permission to Operate, the point where the utility switches the system on. Realistically that’s 6 weeks to 4 months from the referral, depending on the installer and location. Payouts go out once your unpaid balance reaches $50; smaller balances simply carry forward.
Is there any cost to sign up as an affiliate?
None. Signing up is completely free, and your referral link is live the moment you create your account.
How much does it cost to go solar?
It varies by home and system size, but most homeowners see their solar system pay for itself over time through lower monthly power bills.
Do I need a battery, or does grid-tied solar work fine?
Grid-tied solar (no battery) works great for most homeowners focused on cutting their power bill. A battery adds backup power and more independence from the grid — worth it if reliability during outages matters to you.
What are the basic qualifications for a home to be a good fit for solar?
To qualify for our solar referral program, you must own your home and have a credit score of 650 or better.
What if my roof isn’t a great fit for solar panels?
Roof angle, shading, and orientation all affect how much a system can generate. A site assessment from one of our partners can tell you quickly whether your home is a good fit.
How long does it take to notice savings?
Most homeowners start seeing lower power bills as soon as their system is switched on — savings build every month from there.
